Letter removal

So recently I've been thinking of how to do subtle changes to my newly purchased FL2. She's my first LR and as a little boy I've always wanted to own one. So with the help of my boy we carefully removed the lettering on the tailgate. So with a flat bladed screwdriver chamois leather and a heat gun, we set to work. A very careful hour later we had the lettering removed and the new matt black lettering in place. I have absolutely no doubt the lettering is not everyone's cup of tea. But saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! More to follow Very Happy

When you change your mind

Don't use a screwdriver, use a hairdryer/heat gun and dental floss, less chance of denting or scratching the car Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Has not affected the paintwork on my roof where gaffer tape is used to hold down radio antenna leads for last two years and always in the same place.

Use nylon fishing line and 2 old wooden clothes pegs for handles. Use like cheese wire. 2 minutes and all off. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

As you said it's not everyone's cup of Tea. Not mine that's for sure as it must affect the resale value.

Also, I can't see the point of sticking "LAND ROVER" just 12" below a piece that has, er, "LAND ROVER" written on it. Rolling Eyes
