Has anyone changed this intercooler to manifold hose themselves, and does the bumper need to be removed to fit? My local garage says it does, but others on the web say it doesn't.

Just swapped it over now. There was no way on earth I could have changed the bottom hose without taking the bumper off, but luckily it was the top hose which had perished.
