I agree that the time seems too long, this is one of my next jobs and will be doing the water pump as well. |

No we changed , the water pump and all the other bits too including the aux belt |

I recently fitted a complete new Gates kit (belt, tensioner, idler and pump) and auxiliary belt.

Cam belt, idler, tensioner and water pump done today at considerably more cost than a few beers! Keeps the local guy in business |

For what it's worth I will be doing the cambelt/waterpump/drive belt on my wife's Peugeot soon so I looked on Eurocarparts and saw a variety of items offered. I didn't know which brand to go for so I called the local Peugeot dealer who quoted for genuine Peugeot parts kit at a lower price so don't always assume that other suppliers are cheaper. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
