First short drive after flashing engine ECU , no sign of stutter however temperature is only around 14 at present. Car does appear to rev out cleaner with improved acceleration. Hopefully temperature will lift a bit over next few days to see if issue is indeed resolved. 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Hi Jim NI,

can you please tell my what kind of software has been flashed to your ECU?
Is it a tuning software or was it from Land Rover directly?

thanks

Hi Jim NI,

thanks for your reply.
Do you know when the software has been released?

Three weeks ago the LR garage told me that there is no new software available for my car.
Last update on my car (MY2011) was in 2014.

Strange Judder/Missfire when cruising/decelerating - auto

Hi,
I need some assistance. Over the past couple of months my 2010 TD4 AUTO HSE has developed a very strange fault. When the car is cruising or decelerating it has developed a strange intermittent judder. The car feels like it has misfired and then all is good. This is starting to happen more and more often. It happens on cruise control or just with the accelerator at a constant, or no accelerator engaged at all. It seems to happen at speeds over 50. The car has done 88k miles. It had the front transfer box replaced 12 months ago under the LR warranty. There are no fault codes, the issue is not present under acceleration. I had a local Independent take a look and they are recommending a gearbox oil change - which I think needs doing anyway!

Anyone else had this or anything similar? Any advice would be more than welcomed.

Matt.

Not sure when the software was released- I'm guessing mine was on the original 2011 software What I do know is that version went from VJF to VJG if that's any help. 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Ewrfvadffe - I updated the software myself Software calibration level is now BH52-12K532-VJG. So far so good, hesitation hasn't shown since and acceleration is much better. 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

That serial corresponds with the "engine maps" data block.
And see that he has a manual, not an automatic like you, so the last 3 letters could be different in your case.

2011 Freelander 2 SD4 S Auto Barolo Black

Hello,

here are my data:

ECU SWN1 [F188]: BH52-14C204-VC
ECU SWN2 [F120]: 9G9N-14C397-BA
ECU DAT1 [F124]: BH52-12K532-VTG

I don't know if my LR garage can check if there is a new version available by giving them the data above.
I think they want have the car to check for newer versions...

thanks

You need to consult the SDD database if you want to check that.
But also, as they are very versed in what they do and they've implemented the functions that do that in their product, you can ask the guys from GAP to compare your data and the SDD database and tell you what you need.

Hi,

sorry, but do you mean gap-diagnostic.com when you say GAP?
When i look at the homepage i can see that they only sell a IIDTool and a EASControl.

thanks
