What exactly is off road insurance? Are you saying that if I drive across a field and hit another vehicle or object that I might not be covered by normal insurance? I can understand that driving in an event might be an issue, but are farmers and agricultural workers only covered by their farm/employers' insurances when off road? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Can you let us all know exactly what Land Rover Insurance said as I understand that driving "off road" to access your destination (in my case Forestry Commission tracks to reach an off course marshalling point is OK.) BUT taking part in (Quote from Insurance Certificate) "The Policy does not cover for use on an off-road 4x4 event" which I understand to be a competitive event. So as presumable no timing or other type of scoring is involved in the LRE event you should be covered. Please get back to us and then I can investigate further through my contacts at LRE. Bill. I spoke to LR insurance and was told by a minion that I was not covered for a LR Experience Trek Day.
