Gently squeeze some superglue into the split and gently push the trim together against the foam

Think it is a bit past superglue. And I know I would end up with the glue everywhere. Have attached a photo to show problem. |

Mine needs doing too,it's next on my "to do"list,along with having my steering wheel re-covered.Downside is that to do both jobs by local upholsterer would mean being without my car for a couple of days.

Not only to do with weight, more to do with the vertically challenged, sliding off the seat rather than stepping out, of course if you're short and fat there is no hope |
