I think your electrical issues could be either a breakdown of the earth strap as Stuart said or you may need a new battery. Keep us informed of progress. |

Not that it will help you much, but I had an Astra that went through a litre of oil every 300 miles...

Again I encourage you guys to search through the forum - if earth strap not successful then next would be checking the main wiring plugs in the junction box located in the passenger foot well. Aparently they can be dislodged from passenger kicking the

Mine is in the shop are we speak for leaking oil; and it is coming from the connection between the transmission and the vacuum pump.

Hi, had the car from new and just clocked up 87K - used to do quite high mileage, but only doing maybe 6K a year now.
