Hello all

I have bought my 3rd Freelander, this time a 2013 GS. it comes with front parking sensor but not switch on the dash, is that normal?

On my car it is the double size button under the CD slot row of buttons right side. Or just above the drivers side AC control. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Its probably had a bumper change do to damage and that was the only one they had at the scrappy??

I just call my dealer, and asked them to check before the hand the car over to me

I just paid the deposit so I'm going to make sure this not done do to a crash or accident

I'm buying from strastone and they are very good dealers so I hope all is going to be ok

So here is an update, it has non OEM front parking sensor so this is why don't have the switch on the dashboard.

RE: Strastone (Newcastle upon Tyne) personally I haven't had any troubles with it this is my 3rd Freelander and I know they are not the cheapest one but the car comes with 2 years land Rover warranty plus every time I have troubles with the car they lend me one, (normally better than my car

Good luck! Maybe the Newcastle branch is the exception that proves the rule. I would wonder how you can switch the sensors on and off then - must be a switch somewhere. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

I asked the same question there is no sound. There is a led indicator on the dash near the windscreen most be tiny as I did not noticed it the day I saw the car

I fitted Valeo front sensors to mine they are powered up by momentary putting it into reverse gear and that powers them up,no switch!

So I got the car now

the dealer is buying a new front parking sensors for me and will install in 2 weeks time

the car is in great condition the service was/is great (Strastone Newcastle) 2 years free landrover warranty, mats (not genuine ones but does the trick) full serviced and valeted
