This may be stating the obvious but I'm assuming you have the blower fan switched on? The system will be ready to go but the clutch won't kick in until the fan is switched on. |

The A/C won't work on Eco - that turns it off to save fuel. Had a similar problem with the wife's Golf - took ages to get cold and eventually the clutch was kicking in but no cold air coming out. A regas cured it - I think they'd said it had 95 grams of gas in the system but it should have had 560 grams. Any less and the clutch wouldn't have kicked in so perhaps that could be your problem? |

Does the condenser fan kick in? Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice. |
