United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Buckingham Blue

So, the car started to make a very loud 'farting' or grating noise when I got it to kick down or accelerate hard. Revving it at standstill produced a whistle that had not been there before. I read this thread and decided it might be one of the larger turbo pipes spilt, but I wasn't losing performance or getting faults. I called round to my mechanic and we put it on the ramp. Broken Clip holding the turbo onto the exhaust. £30plus quid for the clip!! and probably half an hour labour but it has cured the problem. FL2 SD4 HSE lux auto
