Mine was a leaking / defective injector that I suspect the dealer just codged up under warranty. It went again 18 months later and was fixed (at a tidy sum thank you and please call again) at a local indie.

I wonder if your aircon is permanently on and what you re seeing is condensation arising from the piping. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Mine was leaking exhaust gases from a failed seal in the body of the turbo - could yours be that or an insecure turbo pipe? 2011 SD4 HSE Auto

Not sure how you mean always on? But I did 3 tests today, went for the same run 3 times. First was with nothing on = no smoke Second with aircon on and sucking in air from outside = no smoke Third with aircon on recirculate = no smoke upon the Third time how ever when I stopped in the layby I did see a few drops come out of the drain pipe area. Then I noticed that the larger of the metal aircon pipes had condensation all over it and it was very lightly dripping, so im wondering if that is the problem? OR is this a normal pipe to have condensation on? Dan Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto |

By always on, I mean that the clutch for compressor is always made, either because the there is a fault and the clutch circuit and is always live, or the clutch is jammed on mechanically. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Thanks Dartman, the clutch is working as should though This time last year it had a new clutch and compressor fitted and seems to be working fine still.

Hi. That's pretty much what mine was like when the turbo failed and leaked exhaust gases. Could be either you've got a similar problem, or loose pipes from turbo. Does it smell like exhaust?

could be a diesel over-spill pipe loose or leaking. |
