What was left up at Halewood was flat-packed and sent there for reassembly, albeit under a Tata badge Foraging near Gaydon.... 覧覧覧覧覧覧覧 MY13 HSE Lux SD4, Baltic Blue - current, 30,000> miles without fault MY12 HSE 2.2 SD4, Sumatra Black - gone after 10 months/43,000 fault-free miles |

One of the DS forum members, ordered the eD4 ingenium engine, expected in the Netherlands around September, has now been told to expect delivery January 2016. The Jag and Evoque are taking priority, hopefully we should see the ingenium engine the end of the year. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Seems harsh to me that those ppl wanting to buy a DS with an Ingenium engine for 」30-」45k are at the bottom of the JLR pecking order in favour of even more exclusive Jags and Ewokes.

Given the poll percentages, with the DS being so 'unpopular' as a replacement, how about we drop all these unnecessary threads about it? 2011 SD4 HSE Auto

going to test drive a BMW X3 soon, though may hold off until the DS arrives with the new engine.

How about those who still favour FL2 getting together under the 'Bulk Buys' section and getting some from Pune? |

+1 If it is still affordanble as in the same financial situation as Dunkly201 and may end up emulating his course of action. Bill. Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club. Licenced MSA Radio Operator for 35+ years. Rallying is the only sport. |

I've finally seen a Discovery Sport in person over here. It seems clear that this is a Freelander2/LR2 replacement. A lot bigger than the Evoque parked next to it. Base models here are apparently going to be the same price! That is new. LR2's here were always $6,000 less than a base Evoque.
Not sure if serious! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Not sure if serious! ![]() ![]() ![]() By similar I meant, the rounded shape, lower rear end, etc. not size, just the way the styling is going. I have seen the prototype, this is the way JLR are going, for fuel efficiency, fashion, etc. Not meant as a negative statement, just a comment. |

Call me a victim of LR video marketing then! ![]() ![]() Still, it the DS does also have some advantages... Increased wading depth. Longer wheelbase. Newer Gen Terrain response system. Increased towing (vs. my 2010 I6 petrol model.) Lighter weight. Lower in height. More flexible cargo capacity. Larger back seating area. Squeezing in those 3rd row seats required some compromise, no doubt. ![]() ![]() |

Our current D3/LR3 is rather narrow by USA standards, which we quite like. Still, it is tall overall on the outside, but not so large by comparison on the inside. Like the newer Evoque vs. older LR2, I assumed they'd fix that issue. Hopefully LR will also fix that rear door plastic tab that sticks out and scrapes the car next to it (the LR2!) in the garage. ![]() Thanks for your response. ![]() ![]() |
