So, drove DS today; a 2.2 Auto. Proper (Ingenium) engines (well the 2L Diesel) are coming mid-year but will be CO2 page-turning 2WD. 4WD comes later along with other trim levels and the chance to spec 5 seats or 5+2. Looks good and ha slots of features. Just need to save up! Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red
Gone... 2008 (09MY) XS Td4 Manual Stornaway Grey
Prior... 2003 G4 Discovery 2, 1998 Disco 1 and 1997 Disco 1 Company car before that
Also gone in Nov'13, after 7.5 yrs, to new owners with time for more TLC - 1980 Series III 88

I called in to have a look today and was impressed, it is definitely more of a 'car' than a Land Rover but I liked it, the interior was really nice, spacious and well built and as a family car it will fit the bill perfectly for me. I wasn't sure if the rear seats would be big enough but they are fine for younger kids, no worse than our current Zafira Tourer

I am going to order one (SE Tech Auto) once my current lease car is due for change towards the end of the year, will be interesting to see if there are any used ones knocking around by then as the prices are eye watering!

Freelander looks good in Firenze Red, not sure about this though, weird how all the pictures make it look very long, deceptive.

Could be worse though, someone will buy one that is uncoloured Whistle

The other colours
Corris Grey

Scotia Grey

Loire Blue

Kaikoura Stone

Indus Silver

Fuji White with Black roof

Scotia Grey would be my choice but I feel the next car down the line for me may be something else Whistle

I fancy the Kaikoura Stone, the Scotia grey is nice but very green in the 'flesh'

Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

like the all white, but I'm accustomed to white cars over here.

If one squints hard it has the look of sheet metal coming out of a factory down the road from Audi or BMW, maybe MB at a pinch. It is plainly obvious this market is being targeted. The question is whether LR will be able to pinch buyers without loosing too many.

I think it will do well around here for the school run. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

The DS does look long from the side in the flesh, Taz

Those colour charts don't do it any favours, I've seen Scotia Grey, Kaikoura Stone, santorini Black and Fuji White. I've had two White LRs but the DS just doesn't suit it at all.

I've settled on Loire Blue with cirrus interior, but it had been Firenze Red, Indus Silver and even Pheonix Orange, my salesman wasn't overly impressed with the last choice. Laughing 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey

Just been to have a look, ended up having a test drive. Generally impressed.
Asked for a price with P/ex on my jan 2013 HSE Auto with 13000 miles.
They wanted £18000 for a HSE auto with metallic paint, tow bar and Auto Clean protection.
Rolling with laughter One Discovery, gone
Now on third Freelander 2
