England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Santorini Black

Getting an average of about 37-38mpg for my TD4 manual beast, mostly on decent A roads/dual carriageway but with some town driving thrown in, and more than happy with that. Very Happy

Full tank gives me an estimated 550+ miles, but i'm not going to push my luck by taking the gauge too low.

I don't normally bother with this thread but... I just had my best L/100 (MPG) going in my I6!

9.6l/100kms (29MPG) and a range of 655kms (406 miles). Using Shell V-Power 98.

40kms still showing on the computer but don't trust it that much.

All mainly 100/110kph on cruise and with the A/C on - so could do better!

Probably sounds crap to the Diesels, but I'm well happy with that. Very Happy

Run from Dorset to Canterbury and back plus some local travel around town, otherwise mainly motorway/main roads, average over 550 miles is 44mpg. Can't complain.

Which two sensors are you talking about? Would be interested to hear about any improvements.

Just filled up using Tescos diesel mpg seems to be a little lower and the car feels rougher

99.9p a litre might have been a mistake, back to Shell Nitro I think Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Wow that's cheap, I just paid £1.12 tesco
Thinking off trying she'll next

Just got back this time I slowed from 70mph. To 60mph £40mpg
Was it me driving slower or cleaning the sensors

Off Topic I called at a BP station last week, they had tear off vouchers for 5p litre off if you purchased two Mcvitiies share tube biscuit things, they held about 15 biscuits (as a guess) and cost a whopping £2.59 each ... WTF Shocked

i am quietly impressed with the SD4 engine when compared to my old TD4

My trip down from Leeds to Burton On Trent was 38.7mpg, which a lot of 50mph roadworks

My trip back up yesterday from B on T again slow going 50mph to 75 ish and returned 42mpg, with 3 adults a child and a dog in the car

my TD4 used to get high 20's to low 30's on the same journey Confused Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
