England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Bali Blue
Freelander 2 2010

Ive had a look through previous topics, and cannot find an answer.

I have an apple iphone 5c. Which I have a charging lead for, one end fits into the 12v power socket next to the drivers seat.

Just behind this power socket is a round hole, which looks like it might take a 3.5mm jack? The type of jack you normally find on the end of earphones.

I think I can only get bluetooth connectivity, between the iphone and the car radio, for my phone book, not for music on the iphone.

If i pop into maplins and buy a double ended 3.5mm jack, put one end in the car, the other in the phone, will the music on my phone play over the car speakers?

Thanks.

That should do it but I would have thought the Bluetooth would give music as well mine does but I'm using the sub connector. Plug in the 3.5 and select aux input when music is playing. I don't know for certain just guessing as I had similar on my BMW . 2017 Discovery Sport Pure Fuji White "Lynne"

Hi have a MY2011 - and on it can play music from iPhone / iPod using as you said a double ended 3.5 Jack cable from headphone output socket on phone and other end in to the socket beside the power outlet in the centre console- stereo system set to Auxiliary input - push the CD/ Aux button on the stereo system to toggle between CD and Aux

Can control volume with the vehicle controls but can't use vehicle controls to change music track on Aux - at least mine won't ! Freelander 2
