Get a copy of VMWare or Virtualbox and install the software to a virtual machine.

Which is exactly what I'll be doing because after spending 3 1/2 hours installing the software it turns out that the driver will only work on 32 bit versions of Windows not 64 |

Having experimented with and looked at various code readers I came to the inevitable conclusion that you get what you pay for. When I had my TD5 Defender I used BBS Rovacom Lite which was fine but single vehicle specific. In the end I bit the bullet and went for this:-

For anyone buying the Mongoose Pro the installation video shows an 'incorrect VCM' error being fixed by rebooting the PC. This doesn't fix the error and what you need to do is follow the instructions that SDD gives you, go into System Information, click on Details and select the Mongoose. After clicking the Continue button a few times SDD will restart without the error. |
