After a long association with Subaru Foresters I have been and purchased a 2014 Freelander 2 XS in Firenze red and so far very pleased with it. It was a main dealer courtesy car with 5K miles. Took a big hit on my diesel Forester XC but I was getting fed up with the poor aftersales service from Subaru UK and the local dealer. |

First two Foresters came from Town & County, third and fourth from John R Weir. The current dealer in Perth is Auto services Perth. Subaru UK not a great deal of help either. The last one, a diesel Forester XC came with an after care package ETCo, everything taken care of. Tried to claim for a minor bodywork scratch but was never called back. I liked the cars, it was just the aftersales that was rubbish. |

I have a Disco sport on loan today whilst my Freelander is serviced. Cannot wait to take it back and get my Freelander. Tiny back window, tiny mirrors, I do not like it at all. Two tiny seats in the boot for kids which mean you cannot have a spare wheel, just the puncture kit. Perhaps when the new engine comes along those that want high MPG will like it. I'll stick with the Freelander all the time it is reliable as I do not do many miles (4,000) per year the MPG isn't important. |
