Drove mine to the dealers, Hunters in Garstang, the DAB option vanished a couple of days ago.
They duly reset everything and voila it's back, three cups of coffee and a wash n vac, all is well Thumbs Up

Another customer in the showroom, dressed in a tacky fleece top, tweed cap, those horrible croc shoes with pale socks said "classy Land Rover joint like this and they have Jeremy Kyle on the telly" he then poured himself a coffee, not in the pot cups provided but a take out cardboard one Laughing

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

Thursday pm till Sunday on Isle of Mull for Mull rally. Job MSA Scrutineer. Arrived on island after 150 miles main roads at 43mpg, then drove Briskly!!! 160 miles on single track roads with lots of stopping at passing places, lots of low gear driving. Glad Freelander SD Auto does NOT have a stop/start system, starter would be worn out. MPG at rerutn to mainland 33mpg and back up to 37mpg at end of 460 mile journey. Well pleased. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone

Brakes

Gave my brakes some love. Following an MOT advisory, changed the pads up front.

Did a brake fluid change and while I had the rear wheels off, saw there wasn't much meat left on the rear pads either.

Have ordered new rear pads, and hope to have them fitted before it gets too cold and nasty to work out on the driveway!

Took the family to WB Studio Tour for the filming of the Harry Potter films in Leavesden - great experience if you are fan.

The journey was interesting in that I clocked an average of 43mpg on the way home - best ever on a journey. Probably due to a large amount of speed/congestion control keeping us all at 50/60mph. 2016 BMW X3 30d SE in red

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Firenze Red

Today I fitted mud flaps all round, spats and new boot liner, took the carpet mats out and rubber mats in for winter Next week fit body mouldings.

Yesterday while wife was out in FL2 an unknown white sprinter van (according to neighbours) reversed into the FL2 space and into my Leon that I have just spent a week bringing up to showroom condition plus new cambelt and service. Rear nearside door might re-skin but more likely a new door.. What a Censored

Insurance assessment on Monday & £100 excess... Mad

Laughing Towed my dad out of his mates woods yesterday evening Laughing

He got his long wheel base vw works van stuck twice then called me to come and help, he said bring the defender which had a flat battery ( I moved it a few days ago and must of left something on though I don't know what ) so ended up taking the fl2 and stuck it in mud and ruts not really expecting anything other than wheel spin it just drove off and pulled the van out no problems Thumbs Up

Gota say rather shocked at how well it did, thought it would of at least moaned something on the dash but all was well for once in the fl2 lol

Van is about 2.5 tons which was stuck, fl2 pulled it up a slipy muddy hill, then out of the tight muddy wet track. Didn't much like the holly bush scraping the body work though Shocked Don't think its scratched it but that noise when it happens isn't to nice

Ofcourse the defender ( challenge truck ) wouldn't of even of noticed the van, but was chuffed for the fl2 doing good for once Smile Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto

Scotland 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Fuji White

Dropped Linda off at Ultimate Autos Ltd, Stirling for Gtechnique treatment.http://www.ultimateshineautos.com

Can't wait to get her back, just seen first photos of the paintwork pre treatment and scratched to hell requiring paint correction, new car shows what is acceptable from manufacturers and dealers alike. Until you have professionals looking at paintwork you are blind, luckily White so not seen until looking closely.

I have every faith in the guys at US though highly recommend them for all your detailing work and supplies. Photos to follow. 2017 Discovery Sport Pure Fuji White "Lynne"
