- I do the same. I think the silver surround just gives a little extra 'lift' to the front. I will also fit the chrome fog light surrounds and tow eye cover at some stage. |

Nice job! Not sure on the silver surround for the grill, but the whole job looks good.

How strong are the plastic welds holding the grill is it possible to cut them with only the headlights removed or will it have to be a bumper off job to cut the grill out MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I had a go at undoing the welds but there are quite a few and I was worried I may not be able to weld them back. It would be bumper off though... 2010MY 2.2 e4 (gone but, not forgotten)

The grill surround comes off quite easily with out removing the bumper Nut. Even better in cold weather as the weld tabs are brittle. Then simply use the same lack adhesive as they use for windscreens and you'll be OK. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Is there any metal structure inside the front bumper you have to change or is the bumper shell all you need to buy?

I'm sure if there was a metal structure to replace it would have been mentioned in the numerous facelift posts, have a search to find out Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |
