What do you guys thing is the best polish & polishing/ buffing cloths ? My car being deep red I think the swirls you get when polishing would show up . What's the best way to avoid that ? Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

It's a polymer sealant not a polish, 45 minutes to do the whole car and you will use about 10% of the contents so overall it's not expensive. The results will astound you.

AD2335666555667754323 uses it with the Acrylic prime product too which preps the surface, I have only ever used JETT, get a couple of microfibre cloths to apply and buff and its sooo easy to use.

If your looking at polishes to remove swirls then by hand your going to be burning the elbow grease at both ends

Off the shelf, Autoglym Super Resin polish does what your after, partly removes but fills the swirls you then top off with a sealent to maintain the finish

The kit Taz mentions is good, but if you want to Wax the. Poorboys Natty Red Paste or DoDo Juice Orange Crush to layer on a nice Colour enhancing finish, but more elbow grease burning in doing so

Like you I spent hours researching waxes and polishes and tried out a few. In the end I took Taztastic's advice and bought the Jett. I wouldn't use anything else now. The ease of application, durability and finish it goes you far exceeded my expectations. Take the plunge and give it a try-you will not regret it. I would also invest in a clay kit too. I use Meguiars Quick Clay which is fool proof and designed for amateur home use. To remove swirls or light scratches I use Meguiars Ultimate Compound. Again really easy to use and the finish it gives you is outstanding. A word of warning though-car detailing is addictive! I used all of the products above on the BMW in the photo.







The finish is mirror like with minimal effort and stays cleaner for longer-well worth the initial effort.

I use two sorts. On my tvr I use dodo juice micro prime and the the banana wax which is for warm colours. This combination is spot on and although the was is 30 you use hardly any of it.

On the everyday car I use autoglym super resin followed by there sealant. This is as good as the above. But my tvr has a clear Armourfend wrap and the above is not suitable due to the amount of chalk in the polish that you find in cheaper polishes. This leaves a white dust that sits in the joins of the Armourfend.

That said it is ideal for the everyday car, just mind the plastic trims. The dos wax car be applied to the trim if you go that route.

Also found a very good wax virtually pure carnauba called Harley wax. It's usually on eBay from an American importer. Gives a super deep wet gloss and a very large tin for the money - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement

If my wife ever sells my stuff for what I told her I paid for it, there will be some bargains out there!

I use it on the van, does a good job, on the windows also, never plucked up to use on the Disco

I have to sayi have also, on the caravan excellent for removing black streaks
