Sounds more like a blockage or level sensòr failure perhaps?

Think it just thinks its got water in the bottle when its empty, all the pumps are running and trying to work while its empty, and no warning light/message ( guess it has a sensor? ) just been out and refilled the washer bottle and its all working normal but just not as it should when getting empty

No not water but its easyer for auto phone text to type lol normal always use washer fluid but the last two owners might not have Just had a google and ordered a new sensor so will wait for it to turn up then have ago at replacing. Guessing its the drivers side wheel arch off then the bottles behind that? This is the first time i have run the bottle down to empty so it might of been broken sinse before i got the truck.
