Only if it's more than £100 I believe. Phones 4U took £99 deposits. Naughty. |

My credit card company offered to pay up £17 once. I had one last email attack on the company in question and they caved in and refunded so I didn't need to bother. Not a lot of money but it's the principle. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Those that try to get their £99 back may be lucky and be refunded by their CC company as a goodwill gesture but if not, they won't have any automatic rights under the law. Not fair really.

Agreed. S.75 is the relevant section. Of course, as they are in administration, the secured creditors get first shout and the customers are way down at the bottom of the pecking order. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
