me. Before last week I had never heard of the Ashbourne Shrovetide football until I came across one of the 'goals' in the village we were staying in (Clifton). I did a bit of Googling and some sites say that in the early days the 'goals' were 3 miles apart, the game 'kicked off' at 2pm, went on to 10pm and the ball was a severed head! Thats one tough game!!!!! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto Present: Audi A3 S Line. |
