I did an oil change after purchasing my FL and ended up going to a local motor factor for the right oil. Comma produce on with the right spec - but it wasn't on the shop floor (where there were about 6 Comma oils, all 5W/30) but out the back. The guy said that finding the right spec oils cause him a right headache as there are so many that are 5W/30, etc but are then manufacturer/car/engine specific.

Sorry to jump on the back of this, but how do I tell if I have a DPF fitted? I just bought my first LR yesterday and want to do an oil and filter change so I know it has been done. I have a Freelander 2 XS TD4_e registered March 2010. I don't want to put the wrong oil in ...Thanks for any help. |

You're welcome, you do right to change the oil and filter if you are not sure when last done. Hope you have many trouble free miles |
