another new member. Been reading for quite a while and thought it time to join. Currently have a Freelander 1 and am seriously considering replacing soon with a Freelander 2, possibly brand new.

bit posh as to what I am use too series 2/2a/and 3 old 3.5 efi rangi on LPG and defender 110 csw 200 tdi for 11 years, td5 disco(wot a let down that was) last car Honda crv NOW BACK with a LANDROVER in the form of a 60 plate freelander 2 gs bit of a trip after taking delivery of 1000 miles to areas of kent and Portsmouth picky taken

Just bought my first FL2. Bought a bigger caravan and my 2008 Skoda Octavia Vrs Estate was aweful towing it so it had to go. Had a p38 4.6 v8 HSE in the past but legally couldn't tow with it due to my licence restrictions and also my bank balance would have taken a massive beating (plus it was a typical p38 so was off the road more than it was on it.)

Looking forward to my first time towing with the FL2 soon Smile FL2 Td4 Manual 2007

My last LR was an ex RAF series 3 110 safari which cost me a fortune and let me down on and off road regularly and in the most spectacular of ways.........25 years later and the nightmares exercised I've decided to give LR another chance.......
I've had my FL2 for about 2 weeks and I Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up it so far.

Hi All

Derek here, just joined the group as I have just bought my first LR a 2008 Freelander 2 Auto to tow my 2011 Swift Challenger 480SE which I have also just bought, changing from a motorhome. Spent hours looking for a suitable vehicle finally decided that this ticked all the boxes. Even my wife enjoys driving it although I doubt if she will tow with it
