It looks to me as if whatever senses you pushing the fob to release it is intermittent. But why only on one fob? |

Are both fobs un attached to other keys?? Just wondering if it is the difference in the weight of attached keys pulling the fobs at slightly different angles and moving one of the fobs slightly away from the releasing sensor/button inside the mechanism, try them both without other attached keys maybe? Black FL2

don't want to 'fob' you off but in the video you are just inserting and removing without starting the engine. I can't see any reason why one would want to do this. One pushes the key fob in- starts the engine-goes on a trip- ends the trip -pushes button to stop engine then extract the key fob. That is normal not what you are doing. you are not giving anything even half a chance to work properly and maybe damaged the fob in some way Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner |

I think the fob should go in and out ok without having to start the engine. |
