Ok I want to get a new key to make sure it is not the receptor mechanism and I need a spare! Please would someone let me know which is the cheapest way of achieving this? eBay then get LR to program? Are eBay fobs reliable? |

You could buy a new case for around £25. If it works - great & cheaper than a new key. If it doesn't then it's just £25 lost.

Just remember that the Fobs are not reprogrammable, once it is coded to a Freelander 2 that's it, it cannot be programmed to another one, no matter what the seller on ebay tells you. be 150% sure if you are getting off the bay it is BRAND NEW, UNUSED. |

Had the sticking problem with a well worn fob. Bought a new case on ebay for £25 and swopped in the electronics. Instant cure !. |
