I get lost after leaving the front door so GPS for me is useless. In fact I have to go up to the prettiest girl around and say " Excuse me I am lost can you direct me back to your place?" Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner |

youd better tell the GPS which farmers have one of these before you head off on a right to roam adventure

You need to be able to use map and compass before you go out with a GPS |

I know what you mean, but do have basic skills, and would be keeping to trails and proper walks |

Keep to low level walking / well defined trails. watch the weather and don't be afraid to turn back or cancel.

Will do, just getting kit together, or possible kit that I might get, just in case the wife's looking over my shoulder |

I use the 62s for search purposes, its very good GPS and you got it at a cracking price. The cost we paid was considerably more and that was buying 40 direct from Garmin. |
