England 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Stornoway Grey

Hi npinks,

I've had my GPSMAP 62s for about 3 years now which I use for a combination of treking about and geocaching. It's a great GPS but does loads you will probably never use, and there are features you will want to use but will need to find if that makes sense.

As for maps there are some good Open Source Maps available for it here. http://talkytoaster.co.uk/ukmaps-previous.htm select the top one for routable. You have to copy it to your 62s and change the name but it gives you a good map that has been updated by real people who know where some paths that don't appear on the OS map are.

Happy to let you know a few tips and tricks as you get to know it if you want. SD4 Auto 2012 GS Stornoway Grey.

tips and tricks are always welcome Very Happy

Took me a while to work out how to view the Geocaching info and find the hint, till i started a route to one Confused
