Hello there ,the van weighs in at 1435kg and 1678 fully loaded with the kerb weight of the FL2 being 1770kg its a stable tow like you don't really notice it on the back ,dont think we have or are likely to take it up to the 1678kg , the only thing i do find that it seems to be a little nose down not sure if thats down to us but we do tend to but most of our stuff under the fixed bed which is behind the wheels and the awning is usually in the boot when we take it which is only when the kids 15 & 17 decide to come with us as they are both working weekends now so they don't come that often |

My last fewposts regarding caravans have been quite friendly in my opinion , BUT then I drove to Harrogate to see Mrs G and young Finn and guess what! stuck behind a caravan at 30 mph for half of the 17 mile trip, I was about 10 cars back from the ugly great thing, I didn't want to travel at crazy speeds just get to hospital to see my wife and son!!! No fair

CG, What you failed to see there was a tractor and trailer in front of the caravan. You must look on the bright side. At least you didn't get a speeding ticket while behind the caravan. You should thank us caravanners for that. Especially when you meet us in the pub. Hope all is well with wife your and son. waaxh03 |

Ah but if a tractor had been responsible it would have pulled over at one of the many lay-bys in the road. Anyway seeing as the roads around here are all built on farmers fields, tractors have the right of way Im going to the pub tonight ,to do some serious head wetting feel free to paypal money to me to buy me a beer At work At home "I can't always believe facts I read on the web" - Charles Dickens winner by default of the tractor vs caravan race |

aahhhh, you can tell it the first one can't you ..... I suppose we should give him a break before telling him what he has REALLY let himself in for !!! OK, I'm biased, with a wife and two teenage daughters (16 & 19) I'm really suffering. this family lark is expensive ... I got the FL2 as a company car, it's about the only break I get ..... |
