I have come to the Freelander from a D3 and boy do I miss it but just didn't need the bulk.

And both the D3/4 and the RRS are great for towing caravans.

Get a Disco, same chassis but no party frock and as others have said, much more space and people won't think you dealing |

Well getting back on track I had the use of Q7 once, nice car to drive but to trying to get out of it in a carpark is a nightmare. Had to let the wife out first then park up and I heard that tyres only last 10000 miles. |

If you get 10000 miles or of a set of tyres on a Q7, your doing very well! The X5 is just as bad.

Thanks folks, I already know the answer to our problems is a Disco. I've done a little reading and noticed the RRS boot is almost as big as he big sisters, just lacking the head room so may keep my eye out for an earlier example with decent mileage. |

Slight case of heresy on my part but if you want loads of room for the kids, dogs et al then have a look at an E class Merc estate. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
