Indeed Avtur

What a Day Exclamation Parkwood Is a great place with something for everyone

Three from Freel2.com came along today as you can see in Avtur' photo and i'm sure AlexG will post a few photos, onces he has driven home and washed his car Laughing

I loved my drive home this afternoon, the LOOKS you get with a car covered in mud from people walking, driving or just sitting in the pub Laughing

The best look must be the chap just up the road where I live who has just taken delivery of a '08' FL2 do a "shocked double take" look as i pulled pasted him at the junction he was pulling out of Shocked Rolling with laughter

I'd like to thank you as well Andy for a really well organised and great day out. Enormous fun!

I'd never been off-road before, and my FL2 is less than a month old so I was a little nervous on some of the slopes (especially at the crest of a hill when I couldn't see where I was going, but I quickly got the hang of trusting the hill decent).

I was especially nervous about crossing the water. But I didn't need to worry. The tuitor was brilliant. I learnt a lot. My thanks also to Nick (Npinks) for bravely being the first FL2 to cross the lake. After seeing him make it I happily floated across. It was exhilarating. I can't wait to see Chris's video of my maiden voyage. Even some of the D3 drivers where quite surprised the "little" FL2 could made it across.

Also my thanks to Paul (Avtur) for leading us along trails I wouldn't have had the courage to go down if he hadn't safely taken his FL2 down first. It was brilliant to begin to learn just how capable my FL2 really is.

Having now seen my pics from the day my daughter has asked if she can come along on the next one. I can heartily recommend it to anyone with a FL2, even if you're a total n00b at off-roading like me.

Brilliant day everyone - I really was impressed with the capability of the Fl2. Alex, your voyage through Tong Lake was the icing on the cake though... Andy and myself were sitting in the Defender eagle-eyed saying "He's not...... he is! Shocked "

Got everything on film and camera but give me a few days to get it up and running as I've got a killer week ahead of me.

Cheers folk - good to meet everyone and put faces to names Thumbs Up "CY from DISCO3"

I am just about got my arse to relax after that pond crossing, I have to admit i was nervous about it, as if it goes wrong in water its expensive

I don't think it will happen again though, when the DSC kicked in due to the car floating a little was enough for me. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
