Just seen this - I've sent a link to a mate (who has a Disco 3) to see if he's interested. Your normal insurance policy would not cover this type of thing, unless you have off road cover, such as LR insurance & NFU offer.

My wife, Mrs Avtur, is the most none car minded person you will ever meet. But for some reason she agreed to come along to the last event. She had a blast, she still talks about it to her friends ... Bloody hell did she scream when we went down the BIG hill ... We had a fantastic day out, we played with the car in the way it was meant to be played with ... the car did not get damaged ... OK it needed a good clean, but thats no big deal ...

I can't think why people wouldn't want to come on this event We've cleared up that it's non-damaging, we've agreed how much unparalleled fun it is, we've mentioned how much value for money it is compared to the very expensive LRE days, it's also a social meet and a chance to learn more about your car. Get it looking muddy.

If anyone has any niggling questions I'm pretty sure Andy or one of the other experienced members will be able to answer. We've got places and the need for some people to come along and play.
