Nice to see you have put your name down (on Disco3) it will be great to put a face to your name Thumbs Up

Is the tuition side worth it at Tong, I presume from what i saw last year its newbie safe

Going to keep signed to it as it will be my first time

If you've not been off road before then the tuition is OK.

The day is none damaging, you will have a fantastic time.

Just a note about family involvement. Last time I took Mrs Avtur, she is the most none car minded person you can imagine. BUT she really enjoyed the day, and still talks about it with family and friends. She will be attending this event.

If you want to make it a 'boys' day out you can, but if you want to make it a family day that will work as well.

Would be D3-less though as my Uncle has it away on business then but I may try to come down anyway and go as a photographer for the event, will speak to Andy first though as not sure the rule on spectators. Rest of the gang fancy a weekend shopping in York anyway Rolling Eyes "CY from DISCO3"

Looks like I'm going to be there. Event photographer (there'll be no escaping the embarassing moments this time) Wink .

C'mon guys, get signed up if you're free that day. Tong's got it all; mud, water, hills, slopes, everything - and it's all worthwhile because you won't damage your car. All the FL2s which went in September had a ball.

npinks and avtur have led the way - get your name down and I promise you won't regret it Thumbs Up Thumbs Up "CY from DISCO3"

I really need some more numbers folks.

If you have never been off-road before this is an ideal chance, a safe well managed site that is clearly marked as to the suitability of the terrain for a Freelander. The tuition option is an absolute bargain too, you would pay at least £200 for tuition normally albeit 1-2-1 but the instructor is Land Rover Expereince trained Smile
