Not had any problems yet - lights normally take about 20 secs to turn off after a tunnel |

No problems either but maybe next time it happens just turn the lights off from the knob and then after a couple of seconds turn the knob back on auto and without stopping and restarting the engine, and see if the lights go on again

I don't know whether this has been discussed but do the auto lights only come on as full headlights not sidelights? Mine seem to come on full when the light is barely fading and I have to switch them down manually no good when you're used to the car doing it for you!!

Full beam on mine too, but I don't mind. I wonder whether sometimes people think I am flashing them when driving under bridges, they come on then off again Phil |

Couple of weeks on from my original post and all is still working as it should on the Auto lights front. Probably just a blip and I shouldn't have posted about it in the first place

phil_wkl wrote . Mine come on in a tunnel and 'eventually' when I travel up a very shaded lane with trees blotting out the light. They don't come on at twilight until much later than I would prefer. It seems that mine aren't very sensitive. Is there any way they can be tweaked They come on in either main or dipped, so it's just where you parked the stalk. I doubt there is any problem with your auto lights. They are a useful feature on the car, but certainly not infallible. I have come to accept that just occasionally I have to do something myself! Life is not a dress rehearsal! |

I really don't understand the problem if the lights DO stay, OK its not how they are designed to work, but is it problem if the lights stay on? Does it cause any harm?
