Romania 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame

It seems that my previous post related to exhaust camshaft breakdown thread was deleted without any reason.

I was trying to warn this user about a very serious issue related to all models produced between 2007-2010, that can lead to a complete engine failure. So in my opinion my post was on topic.

Why the thread related to exhaust camshaft failures is not a sticky one ?

Thanks.

Maybe you need to explain yourself further instead of just posting a link in a post showing someone's New FL2

I know this has been widely reported elsewhere in Europe, but there is barely a handful of failures on here for Uk owners.

OK. It was my fault because I haven't explain further what's the deal with that link.

But my question remains unanswered: Why the thread related to exhaust camshaft failures is not a sticky one ? Or why you don't create a new forum section called for example Faults & Fixes (like on Disco3 forum) ?

Thanks.

"all models produced between 2007-2010"
That's a worry,I thought they upgraded the cams in 08/09 to avoid this problem

I'll review it and see if I wish to make it a sticky

Though if I stickied all post that we useful there would be pages and pages of sticky threads
