That Seamaster pro is a popular watch and has been available for many years so they can be seen fairly often in the wild. Helped as used versions have been found from around £500 or so.

You have made a good choice as they are a great watch - suitable for many occasions and very durable - a tool watch. I have one in my collection and Prince William wears his a lot - I understand it was a gift from his mother.

I am fan of fine watches for many years.

But when I buy a watch, I wear it every day, everywhere and all the time.

This is why I chose seemaster omega. The latter model offers the distinctive coaxial movement.

While this watch can never replace a dive computer , I have many times brought into diving at around 20 or 30 meters deep without a problem.

One way to find beautiful watch near new condition at discounted price is to purchase them from collectors. You must register on the forums for that.
These often have the strange peculiarity of buying watches without wear it , since they remain in their caskets .
Some collectors do not put little damaging them , it is absurd

If you want brand new but are not too bothered about paying for the AD boutique experience then I would suggest buying from somewhere like Iconic watches where you will easily benefit from a discount of more than 20% on a watch like this. They usually have them in stock and it can be with you next day. Iconic are a very trustworthy online retailer as well as having a bricks 'n' mortar jewellery shop in Blackburn.

You can always use the purchase option as leverage when negotiating with your local AD. In my experience, they can get close but can rarely beat online prices.

'AD' and 'bricks and mortar'... brings me back when I first bought my watch and i joined a couple of watch forums.

It's amazing how many watches people collect and their wealth of knowledge on the subject in immense.

There are even Watch Winders that keep all their beloved Automatics constantly wound up.

I was lucky to buy a Breitling Avenger Skyland. It's built like a brick ****-house and I wear it whenever I'm out the house.

BTW: Not sure about the Omega, but the service I had last year cost just as much as my Freelander service

Anyway, it's a nice goal that you have set yourself Doc, enjoy the watch when you finally get one

Being a bit of a watch enthusiast BUT older watches that are VERY understated Omega's from the 60's and a Patek, I wanted something to wear when working in the garage.

i ended up with the standard military watch from this site, the time keeping is very impressive , less than 10 second error over more than 2 months.

these are not to everyone's taste as they are not really fashionable nor do they have a bling factor , which shouts ' look how much my watch cost'
