After a good year in business and getting tired of the TAG I have had for over 20 years I treated myself to one of these.

I bought a Heuer about 25 years ago before they tied up with TAG - faultless service over the years. Also (when I was in the money) bought the Ebel 1911 for going posh. Nice watch but doesn't get many outings.

Bought a Breitling Emergency four or five years ago, love it. Then bought the diver and the leather wrist strap to mix things up, give me a change and to chose according to what I'm doing.

What's up with the £10 Casio. It's been brought in to the 21st century with a whole host of colours, I went with blue one didn't want anything too flash.

We were in Heathrow airport a few years ago and my wife treated me to a Tag Aquaracer watch for my birthday in the duty free shop. I love it and wear it all the time. Only had the battery changed a few months ago for the first time. I'll never forget the time and date she bought it for me - It was just before the two minutes silence at 11.00 on 11/11/11. It certainly brought home how easily we forget and take for granted the freedom we have, thanks to those that went before us.

Apparently Bremont are doing a nod to the Defender with a bespoke Automatic watch.
