Omega are great watches but you can pick up one with box, papers etc. with big discounts if you look on watch auction sites.
Use reputable auction houses and you will be ok.

If you want to go the Rolex route I've an unworn submariner you can buy but it will probably be more expensive than the Omega.

Good luck with whatever you choose, a good watch is a source of pleasure as well as being a way of telling the time.

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Buckingham Blue

After a good year in business and getting tired of the TAG I have had for over 20 years I treated myself to one of these.

Absolutely love it.

United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Orkney Grey

I bought a Heuer about 25 years ago before they tied up with TAG - faultless service over the years. Also (when I was in the money) bought the Ebel 1911 for going posh. Nice watch but doesn't get many outings.

MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

England 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Orkney Grey

Bought a Breitling Emergency four or five years ago, love it. Then bought the diver and the leather wrist strap to mix things up, give me a change and to chose according to what I'm doing.

Then two years ago, from the Mrs for my birthday I got a Tag Aquaracer, automatic, nice weight etc so what do I do now?

I tend to wear the tag most of the time, easier to wear and read. Plus I get comments if I don't wear it Rolling with laughter

What's up with the £10 Casio. It's been brought in to the 21st century with a whole host of colours, I went with blue one didn't want anything too flash. Laughing

I have red G-shock as well. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

We were in Heathrow airport a few years ago and my wife treated me to a Tag Aquaracer watch for my birthday in the duty free shop. I love it and wear it all the time. Only had the battery changed a few months ago for the first time. I'll never forget the time and date she bought it for me - It was just before the two minutes silence at 11.00 on 11/11/11. It certainly brought home how easily we forget and take for granted the freedom we have, thanks to those that went before us.

If anyone's after a nice watch, let me know.
I've got a contact in China, he tells me "all makes watches, velly cheap".
Sadly though they're not for me.

Confused FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

Apparently Bremont are doing a nod to the Defender with a bespoke Automatic watch.

It will be available once they can find out why the second hand keeps falling off ...
