Hello All

I have been a member for a couple of weeks but this is my first post.

I had an email from the dealer on Friday advising me that my FL2 goes into build on the 10 June and will be with me w/c 23 June. It’s a TD4 XS Auto with sun roof & leather in Santorini Black (the only colour) and I can’t wait!

I’ve had several test drives including a ½ day with LRE and the car is just brilliant. For the last 15 years I have driven Discoverys of one sort or another and was a little concerned that the off road performance of the FL2 would be a let down, however after a few hours with LRE I am convinced that the FL2 is more than capable (or should that be more capable than me?). I think having the auto box helps off road, particularly when you need to crawl it forward, and I am glad that I have spec’ed it despite the reputation for thirst.

Only two weeks to go !!!

Unfortunately you have chosen the wrong colour and because of that you will soon end up like CG who is now OLD, DECREPIT AND SENILE and all this happened to him ever since he bought a "black" one

As you might have guessed mine is Stornaway Grey.......the only TRUE colour for the FL2  ______________________

When did you put your order in?
I ordered mine beginning of May and only been given "July" as the delivery date!! Santorini Black TD4 Manual XS, privacy glass, 6 CD Changer, Bi-Xenon lights......Bliss.
Also have a Defender Double Cab, TD5, (black)modified by Nene, and 1962 Series 11a.

I placed the order on the 24 April so assuming it arrives when the dealer says that it will be about 9 weeks

Just like to say hi. I'm new to this forum and I have resently oredered a new td4 HST in Black/Black leather. Hopefully should have it in a week or so!
I currently drive a 2007 Audi S3 however this is getting px'd for FL2!
