Reversed into in a layby!

There I was parked up eating my sandwich this lunchtime in a layby minding my own business and a high sided pickup coming the other way pulled in behind me and reversed back - I was watching in my rear view mirror thinking "he's getting pretty close" then the inevitable THUD followed.

Pickup pulled forward and I got out to survey the damage - not a single mark!! Shocked

Even the apologetic guy who rear arsed me (that doesnt sound right somehow) was shocked to see nothing other that a light dirt mark that come off with his fingers - gee's i knew grease lightning was good but i didnt know it was that good!!

There may be hidden damage to the internal bumper backer reinforcement bar, also if you have park sensors they might be defective now. Worth a recheck methinks !

tailgate of pickup that sticks out was higher than my bumper so i think it actually missed the bumper as only mark was on bootlid. I have reversed into a parking bay and sensors appear to be working fine Thumbs Up
