Welcome. What model and colour are you going for? You can add the details of your car into your profile. |

Hello there. New to the site, and new to FL2 ownership. Just picked mine up on Monday. Bit of a change from my last car(s), but loving it so far. |

Probably know what the answer is - being a FL forum- but tryng to decide between FL2 GS and Sportage KX3 ??? FL2 more expensive and worse warranty, but slightly leaning towards this one ! |

Quite! The Sportage was good when it was cheap, but it's just too expensive now for what it is. The FL2 is the better car. And if you have any intention of actually using the 4x4 capability there's really only one choice - the FL2 doesn't say Land Rover on the front for nothing, and will run rings around the Kia once the tarmac has been left behind! |

Thanks for reply. I imagine only off -roading I do will be around muddy campsites and green lanes when I get lost ! Nevertheless, it's still a tough decision Had a Hyundai Tucson CRTD CDX for nearly 8 years and its been a good car |

Out of interest, what ultimately made you go for the FL2 rather than the Kia? |

Decent discount P/Ex on a Orkney grey GS ( with armrest pack - whatever that is !). I test drove both FL2 and KIA and the FL2 felt a bit bigger and higher, and , although more traditional , felt more planted than the KIA. The Sportage was still good though- but I'm not keen on the chrome bits on the Kia. Plus LR dealer is 5 mins walk from work. If only LR had 7 years warranty ...... |
