I do and I don't envy you the situation you find yourself in. I wouldn't know which way to jump either.

I like the two posts above, they make a lot of sense.

Yep, I agree you really have all the balls in your court now, so it would be a shame to jump to a purchase too soon. Bide your time and see what the offers are nearer the new car. Joanne

The key question is: were you a kid who took the sweet immediately or was happy to wait a bit to get two later??

One of the few advantages of my ex was her working in 'the trade' and having access to new models so i remember the feeling well! The last time i bought new was 2006 when i bought Astra CDTi 888 build no 8 out of 100............ the first time I bought new was 1983 when i bought a new Polo formel 'E' on low rate finance such it made buying new cheaper than used. However my A2 i bought at 4 years old in 2008 is still serving me well, still like it, costs very little to run and maintain in spite of averaging 19k miles /year and haven't a clue what i would swap that for. eh tu? |

I think this line answers your own question, you still have a love for the car, your not bored with it, another 18 months isn't long. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |
