Camskill will deliver to your door for £125 for the Pirelli Scorpion Zeros, managed to twist my local tyre shop to balance & fit for £52. So £550 all in, cheapest I can get.....

Camskill or Love Tyres are by far the best website for getting your tyres off.

Plus at the moment Michelin are doing a £50 rebate for two tyres which makes them even more competative. Freelander 2 HSE Lux SD4 - Sumatra Black

eeeewww, 25,000 miles is not very far! year and a half....

Anyone know of a longer lasting make? or does performance suffer?

I was thinking of the 80/20 onroad/off road as i will never really go off road, but its nice to know it can cope if needs be!

Too many choices!!!

Goodyear Wrangler HP AW tend to last longer than the equivalent Continentals.
Continental 4x4 Contacts are 80/20 road/off road and are classed as an All Weather tyre.
Agree 25000 is not great but went with them again as I could get away with buying 3 and using my full sized spare and keeping the best of the old ones as the spare. Also had to change slightly early as I was going to Austria and you need a minimum of 4mm tread on all weather tyres in the winter.

My Pirellis have done 33k so far. The fronts weren't swapped at the last service, if they were I could prob get another 5k out of them. All in all a great tyre for the car. IMHO, stick with the tyres that the manufactuer sticks on them.... 2010MY Freelander 2 HSE Auto

My last Audi only used to do around 18,000 miles on a set of front tyres! Shocked MY FL2 has done about 19,700 miles now and the tyres still look like they have a few thousand miles left.

As another option, if you have a local dealer/garage who will fit them, it may be worth having a look at http://www.mytyres.co.uk/

£129 each for Goodyear Wrangler HPs..

Picked up a set of 4 around October last year - quick shipping, good service, no issues whatsoever.

Just replaced my original Continentals at 26k. Had about 3mm left on them but had a nail in one of them which was not repairable so decided to change all four. Had intended putting General Grabber UHPs on as I had used on my Touareg, but decided in the end to try Nexen Roadian HP's. I'm on 236x65x17 and they are 108V M+S Extra load with what appears better rim protection. Total cost including fitting at home, disposal of old tyres, balance and new valve; £353.32. Fitted by Event Tyres. I have no connection with them other than using in the past and finding their service excellent.
