Any one know what the Marshall tyres are like?

I had a set of Marshall road venture apt kl51 on my disco 3, they were quite, better mpg than my gg at2, and didnt slide on a roundabout nr us so for me they were fine,

They don't have a butch tyre design , and they're not a premium brand, mine cost me £110 a corner fitted. My11 freelander 2, xs, Manual, 18" hse sparkles, sidesteps, privacy, zermatt silver metallic, almond nutmeg alacantra, twin electric towbar

Just replaced my original Continentals at 26k. Had about 3mm left on them but had a nail in one of them which was not repairable so decided to change all four. Had intended putting General Grabber UHPs on as I had used on my Touareg, but decided in the end to try Nexen Roadian HP's. I'm on 236x65x17 and they are 108V M+S Extra load with what appears better rim protection. Total cost including fitting at home, disposal of old tyres, balance and new valve; £353.32. Fitted by Event Tyres. I have no connection with them other than using in the past and finding their service excellent.

As a matter of interest, further to the above I have now done 10000 miles since fitting the tyres on the 9th April. All four tyres are showing a tread depth of 7mm to 8mm. Suggests a 30k+ legal life.

Just had 4 no. Goodyear Wrangler HP's 235/60/18's fitted yesterday. Cost me £147/tyre. First tyres I've bought for my FL2 as the car is new to me & also my first Freely. Tyre fitter kept going on about why did I want these & how great Cooper Tyres are......

More margin on cooper tires (sic) nowt at all to do with how good the tyres are, it's all about how much you can screw the customer for Rolling Eyes

My dealer is pretty good, cheaper than all the local tyre centres and they also try and match online retailers as well. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
