United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Stornoway Grey

Our outfit will be a sterling europa 460 (2 berth) being towed by a 2009 eS in grey - hopefully with a first trip to Lincolnshire coast early May and a summer highlight of a run down to Austria in August. eh tu?

Well, that went well! Will edit the link from a proper computer later. iPad fail.

[EDIT]

Finally sat with a proper computer and got the picture added. Hardly worth the wait!

Re: Post your outfit

Award Brightstar 2 berth, big enough for the two of us with awning and the car now has 18" wheels.
I got 3 holidays booked so far, early May on the shore of Loch Earne, Anglesey in July and Hadrians Wall in August with 'The Wirral' at some point.
Always go for CL sites now especially as there are no kids to keep occupied.

EY, you will enjoy the Wirral, with some good pubs and places to visit.
If you are at all interested in The Titanic story and wish to see the St Bartholomew's Church which Ismay MD of the White Star Line attended and the memorial plaques to various members of his family please let me know and I will borrow the church keys from my daughter who is the Rector of the church.

Brings back great memories of being a kid and getting excited about the caravan holiday with family. Mostly went to Cornwall, Dad's car always overheated at some point. As was the way then, most people where able to strip down and fix their cars in a layby!! It was a very social event, caravans everywhere along the roads and everyone flashing their lights at a fellow vaner.

By the way, Nick, you caravan is bigger than my house Shocked !!!

It is a stunning looking van mate. Is it as fantastic inside as out? Do you have any pics?

Thanks Bill, we are indeed interested and when we hopefully get around to 'The Wirral' I'll be in touch Thumbs Up
We do a bit of homework to all the places we intend visiting with a 'must see' list worked out beforehand, have a look at my knocked up website for the type of places/activities we enjoy.

Re: Post your outfit

If you were to use the Caravan Site at Thurstaston it is adjacent to a walk called "The Wirral Way" which follows the route of the old railway line from West Kirby to Hooton. Not as long as some you have done judging from your website.

Great website EY. Had a good nose about at the places you have been. Hat off to your wife Bow down the walks she has done are outstanding.

Cheers Wiz, Must admit to her having the stronger legs now, my walk up Ben Lawers with her was my last mountain and it was a bit of a struggle. Sad

... and end of May I have to look after the dog while she treks the 'Atlas' mountains in Morocco Evil or Very Mad
Never mind, every cloud has a silver lining, take away every night Laughing
