Hmm it seems the car now has 82K on the clock and needs 2 front tyres I wonder if I would be better walking from this one! |

So it's gone up 12000 miles since the ad was placed and now needs 2 new tyres.

Freelander is an ideal vehicle for a family needing space for baby kit and the security of getting where you want to be in all weathers - good choice.

To be honest, you say it's the spec the wife wants, it is the standard spec for the HSE with an Auto Box, the only extras it has is a set of mud flaps, you should not have much trouble finding a similar spec, the dealer has just listed things it has which are standard to dress it up |

Hoping to get him down to the sub 14K mark given the mileage and tyres. The next service is the brake fluids and hoses which could be around £400. I have a feeling that the original mileage was incorrect as the dealer only inspected the car today. The car is owned by his brother in law who it sounds like put the car on their website as a favour. He has inspected it and told me about the tyres etc.

Mine was full LR main dealer history by the local dealer in the area but as it was 72k miles, the LR dealer put it straight out to a trader around the corner.

Think I would try and find another £5k, the LR Dealer will be selling that with LR Warranty I would expect, which is a lot safer, there was a member on here who bought one from a standard garage had a problem, took it back as it was under warranty, then found out the warranty only covered the engine and gearbox and to a maximum of £300. |

It may look good but your vision is very poor with tints in certain conditions, my wife is very cautious at the best of times so reversing in car parks on wet dark nights is her pet hate.

This one is a little bit more than the one at your local dealer but is a year newer and still has a years warranty on it.
