For me its only down narrow unlit country lanes I have a problem with it. Full beaming someone who's dazzling you with their fogs is no different to full beaming someone who's forgotten to dip their full beams.

Might be worth pointing out that the Highway Code is very different to the LAW set out under the Road Traffic Act. Just a thought.... Foraging near Gaydon....

Nothing , cause the evidence apparently shows that the drl increases the visibility of a vehicle to others, thereby reducing ' I didn't see you ' incidents |

If thats true I wonder how much of it is down to the fact that there are less cars with DRL's thereby making them more noticable, when all cars get DRL's maybe the effect will be negated.

Don't know. At work, we were told to drive with ours in lights on all the time for the above reason. |

Can't see you, DRL's on a Double Decker Bus, someone needs their eyes testing, in a few years when all vehicles have DRL's what will be next, someone walking in front waving a flag |

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car |

When I used to wear a white hat, I would often stop people driving with their front fogs on, and inform them their rear fog lamp was defective, and I intended issuing a vehicle defect notice. "I haven't got them on, it's not foggy," was invariably their reply. To which I would reply, "Then why do you have your front fog lamps on, if it's not foggy?"

The only time in 18 years of driving when I could have used them my car didnt have them. I lived in Kirkburton, Huddersfield. Visibility was about 20 meters if that, I remember setting off to work and travelling not more than 10 mph following the line of the kerb. After about 20 mins or so I came out of the fog.
