The AT2 doesn't seem to be available in the standard FL2 17" size (235/65/17), however, the AT is. I'm currently thinking of ATs for my next change. I had them years ago on an Isuzu and found them very good then - hopefully even better now. |

Had 4 General grabber AT 235/65/R17 108H XL fitted back in december, no noticeable increase in noise or fuel consumption, replaced the original conti's, they certainly seem to shift standing water a lot better. There is a thread here: http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic12817.html |

Wrong the best tyre ever was the no longer available Wrangler MT/R Brilliant in mud, even better on snow, made more noise than motorhead, and lasted ages because it was ridiculously deep tread when new - standard for G4 Side walls more puncture resistant than a nuns knickers. Ok they don't like white lines above 70mph - keep off the white lines ![]() No longer available in UK (& Europe?) due to new stupid noise regulations. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner |

I had them - and was not overly impressed - to such a degree I would never buy another set, and If i changed car and they came supplied I would remove them immediatly Compared to vredstrein Wintracs, good year Ultrasnow, or P Zero's they had very poor grip on damp roads. though were excellent in the mud, or on grass. I found them very noisy If I recall correctly I had 255 55 18's on standard 18" rims fuel economy worst than Goodyear Ultragrip. I also found them very soft round the bends. just my 2 pennies worth .. each to their own. they did look the part though ![]() ![]() |
