One of my boys as a new Astra as a hire car whilst waiting for a company car to come, it has a electric handbrake, twice it has released itself, this is his second hire Astra in six weeks, the first one, the handbrake failed to operate the day after he got it. |

a storage pocket down on the front left of the drivers knee area .... really miss that for the RR and the mini. |

Two cup holders in front of the gearstick. I've drove the latest 5 series a number of times and it has the best location for cup holders of any car I've driven. |
