England 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black

Hi everyone. I've had a succession of leased soft-roaders (CR-V, RAV4, Tiguan) Embarassed . Finally in a position to buy myself the Freelander 2 I've hankered after.

So, I bought my new TD4 GS Santorini Black at the end of July and I'm absolutely loving it Very Happy

I'm hoping to pick up some tricks n tips from you all on the Forum, also to get out and get the Freelander nice and muddy.

New to Freel2

Hiya, picked up a new to me 56 plate GS today - 110k plus on it, but it's immaculate. I'm areturning owner, had one once before, changed it, have wanted one back ever since. Love it.

Can I just say how useful and informative the forum was before buying. - its brilliant to tap into real experience

My car is black, but would anyone know what exact colour a 56 plate would be, can I get this from vin number or some other whizzy way?

Looking forward to reading Freel2

Try looking on the front passenger door (B) pillar, towards the bottom. On my car there's a plate there with the colour on it.

I’m new to the site so hello to everyone, joined a couple of weeks ago but been a bit preoccupied with my new FL2 diesel SE. I’d driven many company pool Freelander’s before buying so knew what to expect. So far very pleased, the forum looks good. Hope I may be of some use to the site, been in vehicle manufacturing for 38 years (mech based technical stuff)

Switzerland 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Fuji White

Hi all

I have been reading here for some time. Ordered my SE three months ago. ETA is currently end of November.

SE TD4 manual, fuji white, Satnav, winter pack, rearview cam, Bluetooth.

I am really loking forward to it now. One week ago we had quite some snow here in Switzerland and the Freelander would have been a real bargain to get through.

By the way, I really like the way people communicate here - helpfully and to the point. Thumbs Up
There are hardly any nasty responses, where other forums are full of those.
